Gov. Greg Abbott ordered all Texas state agencies to ban the use of the social media platform TikTok on any government-issued devices.
Abbott sent letters to Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Texas Speaker Dade Phelan and state agency leaders raising concerns about cybersecurity.
