Paxton Sues Feds To End Airplane/Airport Mask Mandate

[#TexasPolitics365]

Texas continues its push to eliminate mask mandates everywhere and anywhere within state lines. This time, Attorney General Ken Paxton is going after the Biden Administration for “illegal” mask mandates in airports —it’s time to “strike down” these requirements, he says.

According to the Daily Wire, “Paxton filed the lawsuit alongside the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) on behalf of Republican Rep. Beth Van Duyne. The case was filed against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Director Rochelle Walensky, Chief of Staff Sherri Berger, and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra.”

New Mexican Federal Contractors Sue In Texas To End Biden's Vax Mandate

[#TexasPolitics365]

Unvaccinated Sandia National Laboratories employees in New Mexico – who have either been fired or are expected to be terminated soon for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine – filed a lawsuit in Texas over the vaccine mandate in an effort to keep their jobs.

Members of the SNL Workforce Freedom Alliance and several current and former lab workers are the plaintiffs in the complaint and request for injunctive relief, which was filed last week in federal court in Amarillo, Texas.

The employees are seeking an injunction against a federal vaccine mandate put in place by President by the in September.

West Condemns Abbott For Not Stopping National Guard Mandatory Vaccinations

[#TexasPolitics365]

Republican gubernatorial candidate Allen West is condemning Gov. Greg Abbott, whom he claims is refusing to act to prevent forced vaccinations of national guardsmen in Texas.

In a press release, West said that abbott, who is commander of the Texas National Guard, "is allowing vaccine mandates to take effect in June 2022. He is kowtowing to federal overreach and not standing up for liberties of Texans who have stood up to serve the Lone Star State."

West goes on to say that those soldiers who are not vaccinated will have their drill pay withheld, which he characterized as "another sick maneuver to force a vaccine on Texans who have the right to make their own medical decisions."

#Texas Officials Prepare Torrent Of Lawsuits Against #Biden's Expected Regulation Tsunami

[#TexasPolitics365]

As Joe Biden takes over as president today, he has big plans for America.

But Texas is almost certain to fight him every step of the way, reports the San Antonio Express-News.

The state is about to be back on the front lines battling against the federal government, a long tradition for its Republican leaders, from former Gov. Rick Perry to Gov. Greg Abbott — who as the state’s attorney general famously said, “I go into the office, I sue the federal government and I go home.”

Abbott is likely to follow in his footsteps with this new Democrat president, preparing a blizzard of lawsuits against the expected tsunami of new Biden administration regulations and Federal mandates. This weekend, he tweeted

"Texas will take action whenever the federal government encroaches on state's rights, or interferes with constitutionally rights, or private property rights or the right to earn a living."

The paper notes the fight for National Healthcare mandates, and the incoming Biden administration's expected championing of green energy and illegal alien's rights will be heavily contested, and not just by the Abbott administration.

The conservative Texas Public Policy Foundation — which filed the Obamacare challenge that Paxton joined and is now before the Supreme Court — is gearing up to start grinding out challenges to a slew of White House priorities regarding immigration, energy and taxes.
