Texas State Republican Party Chairman Matt Rinaldi went after the Democratic Party yesterday after Democrats were forced to adjourn their State convention this weekend in Dallas for a lack of a quorum.
According to the state party' s official Twitter feed, Rinaldi said, “Texas Democrats showed this weekend what happens when you take away tens of millions of dollars from California, New York, and D.C. Speaking of the Democratic Party's convention, Rinaldi continued, "The showing was so dismal that Democrats couldn’t even maintain enough attendance to complete the primary business of a party convention—passing a Platform. The Texas Democrat Platform will now be written behind closed doors by party bosses."
The Texas Democrat Convention adjourned due to a lack of quorum and failed to pass a party platform.
