The Texas Secretary of State's office provided the Houston chapter of the League of Women Voters of Texas 10,000 voter registration forms over the weekend that they had requested.
After initially being promised only 50 voter registration forms and eventually receiving 1,000 forms last week, the League sent a letter Friday to Texas Secretary of State John Scott threatening to sue if the state did not provide the needed registration forms to the League and other voter registration organizations ahead of the March 1 primary.
